With every passing day, it is becoming clearer that the US government is planning to unleash war in the Caribbean. It is obviously plotting some kind of military aggression against Venezuela with the aim of overthrowing the government of that country and replacing it with a puppet regime that will allow US corporations to plunder Venezuela’s oil, gas and other resources.

The Network of Intellectuals, Artists, and Social Movements In Defense of Humanity strongly denounces and condemns the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado, which constitutes a cynical escalation in the hegemonic discourse and war actions of the United States. This maneuver is not innocent; it deliberately seeks to implant in the collective imagination the narrative of an invasion of Venezuela, disguised as a “war for freedom.”

The Sameer Project x Translating Falasteen has been supplying medication, treatments, visits to doctors, wound care, making specialist appointments, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and collecting documents to facilitate evacuations in both the North, Central, and South of Gaza for one year. Depending on the patient, location, and type of help needed we have been supporting medical care from our North and South campaigns.
