Fundraiser for Andres Romero by Maria Rosales : A Loving Tribute to Mercedez Alexiz Angel Romero

Hello all,

My name is Maru and I am writing here due to the devastating loss of our community member Mercedez Alexiz Angel Romero, a deeply loved poet, artist, daughter, friend, and partner. I knew Mercedez for 3 years and fell in love with her soul and her love for music, food, art, and bringing people together. She was one of the most exciting and extraordinary people I got to meet.

Her loss has come as a shock to us all and has deeply impacted her mother, brother, and her community that she left her magic all throughout.

With permission from her mother and brother, I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to help aid this transition as they face such a tragedy and the loss of such an impactful young life that struck many all over the Bay and SoCal. We are hoping to collect money for her funeral costs as well as any money that will help her family as they manage this loss.
