timeless

all the celebrities were walking by 
the reporter asked how would you
describe yourself? they all replied 
           “timeless”
barely taking the time to stop 
but not khan younis - he stopped 
looked the reporter dead in the eye 
and told everything he was about
some of us don’t have the pleasure 
of timelessness - some of us 
have to explain ourselves
